What are service vouchers?<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>The Flemish service voucher is a means of payment partially subsidized by the Flemish Region.<\/li>\n<li>The check can be used to pay for household work performed by a licensed company.<\/li>\n<li>The checks apply by region: the Flemish Region, Brussels Capital Region and the Walloon Region. Different conditions and prices apply to each of the regions. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Note:<\/strong> This article provides an overview of Flemish regulations.<\/p>\n<h2>2. From 2025, only digital service vouchers<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>You can no longer purchase paper service checks starting Jan. 1, 2025.<\/li>\n<li>You must purchase checks through <a href=\"https:\/\/www.burgerprofiel.be\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">My Citizen Profile<\/a>: via online browser or the app.<\/li>\n<li>Do you still have paper checks? If so, you can make them <\/li>\n<li>Dechecks are valid for 12 months. Service voucher price increase 2025<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>The checks cost 10 euros compared to 9 euros in 2024.<\/li>\n<li>You can no longer deduct checks for tax purposes at 1.80 euros each.<\/li>\n<li>You must order at least 10 checks per order. That&#8217;s the minimum number. <\/li>\n<li>The maximum number of checks per user is 500 per year. As a family, the maximum number is 1,000 checks. For single-parent families, disabled persons and parents of disabled minors, it is 2,000.  <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>4. Tips for people with service checks from 2024<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Buy additional checks in 2024 that you will use anyway before maturity. Then save a net 2.80 euros each (= 1 euro price premium and 1.80 euros tax benefit). <\/li>\n<li>Use your 2024 checks before their expiration date so they are still tax deductible at $1.80 each. Note that only your first 198 (per person) are tax deductible.
